THE BEST TIME FOR ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS

Now that we’re in the middle of Spring, hopefully some decent weather is around the corner. So for any couples that might be thinking about when to do their engagement shoot, if it’s a sunny day, you cannot beat the light in the evenings. It gives a really nice yellow/orange glow and it’s soft so you don’t really have to worry about squinting or harsh shadows like you would during the day. As the evenings get longer, the best time to get started is around 7:30pm. As the session usually lasts around 1 hour, you’ll then get the sun just before it sets, and that’s when the light is really gorgeous!

This is myself & my fiancée last June at around 8:15pm. Hopefully we’ll have more weather like that soon!
