WEDDING 20th MAY BALLINTOGHER-ENNISCRONE

Last Thursday I shot Caroline & John’s fabulous wedding, starting in Ballintogher, Sligo and going onto the reception at the Diamond Coast in Enniscrone. When I arrived at Caroline’s house, Ann Young was busy getting the girls make-up all sorted, and Niall from Complete Weddings was getting down to business getting all the details shot.  The whole day went really smoothly and everybody was really easy going and made getting the group shots done very quickly.

The day after I went up to Dublin to see Alicia Keys rock the O2…mega concert! And after arriving back from there, I shot an e-shoot in Lough Rynn which I’ll have up soon.

On another note, the final episode of the TV series House was on last night, and it was a cracker, but more for the fact it was shot entirely on a Canon 5D mk2 slr camera.  It looked absolutely mega. Now that Canon have a great HD video mode on their slr’s, they might get down to business and sort the many issues with the still (photography) mode for the their next generation 5D’s and 1D’s. I still shoot on original 5D’s because I’ve heard too many bad things about the mk2 version….and the files out of the 5D are still gorgous…see below!
