FERMANAGH LAKELAND TRIATHLON

I’m just editing Friday’s wedding today, recovering from my 4th triathlon of 2010 which I completed yesterday. I went up early yesterday morning to do the Fermanagh Lakeland triathlon which was the inaugural event just across the border in Northern Ireland. I knew going into the event that it would be tough, due to my motivation for training slowing a little in the past month! But I was more than happy with the result, 10th in the individual race and a sprint finish to just keep ahead of a relay team! Instead of pictures from this race, Sarah got to try out my new toy, a Panasonic Lumix TZ7 which I’ve bought primarily for it’s superb HD video performance, which we’ll use when we go on honeymoon in September!

Times: Swim (750m, but probably shorter due to winds): 8:43|T1: 1:05|Bike (20km) 36:06|T2: 0:50|Run (5km): 20:12
