A Sunday wedding always feels a bit funny…with Saturday off it felt like Sunday, & with the wedding on Sunday, it felt more like Saturday! But what a lovely wedding to shoot. In a small village near Westport, Ciara & Nick tied the knot in a really relaxed ceremony. Even more relaxed, as they decided to do a ‘first look’ and meet before the ceremony. This was my second time to shoot a first look and it really does make everything so relaxed and easy going.
After the ceremony and having shot a cool group shot outside the church, we went and found a simple rural road to do some quick portraits. Thankfully the road was in shade as the sun was out and I was more than happy with the open shade! After, we went to Westport Quay for another few minutes before ending up in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport. My second time to shoot in the Castlecourt, and the first was with Ciara’s cousin back in 2009!
