Phew, last Saturday’s wedding was a tough one…not because of the couple, the guests or anything that could have been controlled…but the weather! Snow looks great, sounds great, but the reality is that it’s hard to work in and get around. But anyway, enough whining, everyone got from Ransboro where the ceremony was held, to the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon where the reception & party was held.
Everybody at the wedding was superb, not least the bridal party who put up with the cold and frost & everything else to get some great pictures in the snow! They’ll certainly remember the 18th December 2010 when looking back at their album in years to come!!
I was working alone at this wedding, in that there was no ‘official’ videographer, but there was some of the best in the business helping out at other parts of the day. Sinead Conway & Kieran Quinn were singing again, as they were at last weekends wedding. I can’t recommend Sinead enough, as she was outstanding at our own wedding, and always is whenever I hear her at other weddings I shoot. Ann Young was again doing the great job at makeup and as always she was very punctual at finishing off the girls. Feehilys provided the girls bouquets. And then Patricia at the Landmark took over proceedings when we, eventually, reached Carrick!
