As everybody in the free world knows, last Friday seen wedding fever pretty much everywhere, whether or not you cared to watch it! More important to me, was Nicola & William’s wedding in Sligo which I was photographing! For me, my favourite part of the day is the morning when I spend a couple of hours documenting what happens with the bride & bridesmaids and everything else that happens that the groom doesn’t get to see. But last Friday’s morning was extra fun with the Royal wedding getting into full swing on tv as Nicola & the girls started popping the champagne!
All that hullabaloo in London was quickly forgotten as Nicola & William tied the knot in Carraroe before heading to Doorly Park and the gorgeous shaded & cool location by the river for some relaxed portraits & even more champagne! All their guests were on hand to give a rapturous applause when the couple arrived at the Sligo Park Hotel, and the party pretty much got going then. And knowing a Sligo wedding, it kept going long after the Royal one ended!!
