Following my own Royal wedding last Friday, Saturday’s wedding took me down to Co.Galway, where James & Edel had their gorgeous ceremony in Tuam Cathedral. Much like Friday, it was super sunny and super windy too! But the summery conditions allow people to hang around after the ceremony and chat, and it moves the reception to outside the hotel also (the Connemara Coast Hotel), which allows for the best candid shots of guests!
After the ceremony in the Tuam, followed by a quick loop of Edel’s neighbourhood where friends had light a fire, a Galway tradition apparently which made for some great shots out the car window, we made the journey to the Connemara Coast Hotel near Galway city. With the reception outside, guests could see when the bridal party & myself went off to the nearby coast for some photos…hard to believe the hotel is only 10 minutes from Galway, but you may aswell be in the middle of Connemara!
Following the quick witted speeches, Dave and the crew from Deja Groove got things going and really kicked off the bank holiday weekend!
