Last Saturday I was in the Ballina area for Colleen & Gary’s wedding. I only shot their e-shoot on the Thursday before the wedding due to the couple flying in from the UK, and somehow we managed to get that done between the heavy rain showers! On Saturday with the ceremony taking place at the lovely Callow church, it was windy, but thankfully by the time we got to Mount Falcon house, it was calm & perfect for pictures outside.
One of the calmest & quietest brides house in Enniscrone started the day off, before making the drive to Callow for the lovely ceremony. I didn’t have a second shooter with me for the processional shot from above, I prefer to work by myself if at all possible….instead I borrowed my wife Sarah for that particular shot!
After arriving at Mount Falcon and relaxing with their guests for a while, we got all the bridal party photographs done around the grounds, before going into the gorgeous dining room to see all the little details Colleen & Gary had for the wedding, including a pretty awesome cake…the whole top table in sugar paste basically!! At the same time Mayo Wedding Florists were decking out the dining room with some gorgeous flowers in preparation for the meal.
After the meal, I had for the 2nd time in a month, the chance to see the Opera Singing Waiters getting the whole room singing and cheering….they really are fab! And the place was just getting going with A Few Good Men playing some ace tunes when I packed up for the night!
