Saturday’s wedding was an almost home wedding for me! Starting in Melissa’s home, which is around the corner from where I grew up, then heading to the place I now live for the ceremony, in Strandhill! And with the sun shining, where else would you rather have a ceremony! It was so sunny in fact, Melissa’s gorgeous bouquet from Feehilys Florist even started opening throughout the day!
I had to postpone Melissa & Wayne’s eshoot earlier the previous month due to lovely rain, but thankfully we managed a re-shoot a week ago, then you couldn’t have had a better day for a wedding on Saturday! Mind you, it made for extremely tricky shooting conditions, especially when we stopped off in Dunmoran Strand for the bridal party photos…but I love a challenge (I shoot jpeg after all!)…and the guys were excellent too and we came away with some mega stuff!
Then onto the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone, where we got a few more friends & family portraits done, before the speeches began. And like Friday’s wedding, plenty of laughs were had and a few tears shed and plenty of toasts all round!! Finally Deja Groove were in full swing when I started packing up…they wasted no time in getting the dance floor going!
Here’s a few tasters of the day! Enjoy…I’m off to finally see the Senna movie later!
