Rain, tied up rings and a stray dog! Just a few of the things that made Lisa & Mark’s wedding last Saturday so memorable & fun! A super fun bride & groom, great bridal party and really relaxed family & friends helped make it a pleasure to photograph too….and the balloon theme from their engagement shoot continued right after the ceremony in Carraroe!
Yes, I was shooting in Carroroe the day before also, and working with Niall from Complete Weddings again also! But the reception (and preparations) were held in Castle Dargan, one of my favourite venues, as I love shooting in the grounds. With Nikki Kavanagh doing the girls make-up (& church/reception music), a fabulous pair of Vivenne Westwood bridal shoes, and a stunning gown, getting gorgeous preparation shots was pretty easy!
With the weather just about holding on so the whole wedding could release balloons after the ceremony, it was onto Castle Dargan for the reception. With a little bit of rain meaning Lisa & Mark could relax with guests for a while, when the rain eventually stopped & the sun came out, we got some great images around the grounds. And just before the dancing began, Niall had a same day clip for all guests to view, and it got a rapturous applause too! You can see that clip here!
