WEDDING 10th SEPTEMBER ROSSES POINT-KILRONAN CASTLE

We had a dog come into the ceremony last week…this week it was a cat trying to get in on Caroline & Maurice’s wedding! We also had the remnants of a hurricane threaten to shake things up a bit! Regardless of the frequent squalls at the Point, this was a great wedding, with really relaxed people, guests, friends!

Starting across the bay from where I live, Caroline was wearing a stunning gown from Events by Ray Michael, and the house was full of emotion when everybody seen the bride…I love capturing moments like these, because you can’t pose them, I’m just there to document what happens at that stage. Onto the church in Rosses Point, and it was a great touch to have bridesmaid Siobhan (a bride I photographed  last year) sing Caroline as she walked up the aisle with a packed church (standing room only!) looking on.

With it Katia making a brief appearance it was straight onto Kilronan Castle and if you have to get your photography done indoors, this is the place you want! My second time this summer having to work inside there, but it’s almost as nice inside as it is outside! And we did actually get outside for a few super quick portraits when the rain abated for a brief time.

Thanks Mark for the sneak preview. Caroline looks fabulous. Congratulations to you both.
