WEDDING 31st MAY GRANGE-LOUGH ERNE RESORT

I’d been looking forward to Caroline & JP‘s wedding since they booked me ages ago. Having already worked with both sides of the new family, with Caroline’s sisters wedding & JP’s sisters wedding, I knew it would be a great wedding with wonderful people around and having just shot their engagement shoot, I knew they were really comfortable in front of the camera.

Starting in Sligo at the girls house, everything was running smoothly and all the girls were relaxed. And with Holly the cat on my to-do photo list, I was met by the feline herself playing with a field mouse in the laneway! I’m a cat guy so she must have figured that out as she mellowed with me pretty quickly, letting me get some great portraits of her as she lay in the sunshine! And what a stunning, warm morning it was with the girls having champagne out in the garden while Ann Young finished the make-up in the house. After grabbing a few detail shots, it was time for all to get dressed and we then got some more relaxed portraits around the sunny garden before retreating to the open shade of the nearby laneway…both locations were excellent!

Onto Grange for the ceremony and after getting a few quick shots of the guys and the last of the guests arriving in the midday sun, Caroline & JP got married in a really relaxed ceremony before greeting all their guests afterward. The best thing about sunny warm weddings, is everybody gathering outside the church letting me get some great candid images!

Next we made the journey up to Lough Erne Resort…if it was good enough for President Obama & co. it was definitely good enough for us! What a lovely venue with stunning grounds and opportunities for pictures…all without going too far from wedding guests. After 20 or so minutes getting some great portraits around the grounds, I left Caroline & JP to enjoy their reception with their guests.

Congratulations again Caroline & JP…
