Ailbhe & Francis, Wedding, Ardagh Co.Longford to Glasson Country House, County Westmeath.

So on Friday last I made the journey on the N4 towards Longford for Ailbhe & Francis’ wedding. With beautiful sunshine & warmth it was to be a fab day! Another church I hadn’t been to before, but wow, it was beautiful to shoot inside & outside too! Starting near the church where the girls were getting ready, again I was spoiled with some beautiful gardens to shoot in! As soon as everybody was ready, we used the gardens to get a few relaxed portraits before I headed to the church.

After the beautiful ceremony, everybody was just chatting & enjoying the day in the church grounds in the sunshine, and that’s exactly where we did all the family formals. Following that, it was champagne time…and it really was! A bit of a shake, a lot of sunshine & heat & voilà you have the makings of a cracking shot! Thanks to Francis for getting quite a bit of champagne on his suit…but the shot is epic & one they’ll remember!

Onto Glasson Country House, and again like the church, this was my first time here, but I’ll be back in October! With a huge choice of locations for pictures, we picked two or three areas & got some really great images…using a mixture of woods, a stunning wooden bridge & the old Glasson House itself.
