Patricia & Keith, Wedding, Coolaney Co.Sligo to Castle Dargan, Co.Sligo
With a mix of sunshine, showers, autumn colours & winter temperatures, I photographed Patricia & Keith’s wedding last Saturday in Co.Sligo. I had photographed Keith’s brother, Carl’s wedding last December and it’s great when I get to work with the same family again, as they know how I work and get on with enjoying the day to it’s fullest! And to be honest, Patricia’s family were just as relaxed…the whole day was very easy going, from the morning preparations, to the ceremony, how could it not be a relaxed ceremony with Fr.Pat doing the service, then onto the reception in one of my favourite venues, Castle Dargan.
With a quick stop in the pub across the road from the church after the ceremony, before visiting Patricia’s grandmother in nearby Ballymote – this is what I love about documenting weddings, capturing great moments like this! Some of my favourite images of 2015 have included grandparents, and when I do my best of series later in the year, they’ll definitely be included!
It was onto Castle Dargan then for the reception & photo shoot. Thankfully the heavy rain passed over before Keith drove his new father-in-laws awesome Triumph up to the entrance! For the photos, Sligo delivered the sunshine, and Castle Dargan delivered the fab autumnal colours around the grounds, and we didn’t have to go very far to get some great images!
Towards the end of the night, Patricia, having been in Riverdance, gave the guests a fabulous performance with her friends & bridal party!
Congrats again Patricia & Keith! Enjoy your honeymoon!
