Mary & Shane, Wedding, Ballymote Co.Sligo to Enniscrone, Co.Sligo
Well here it is! My first wedding post of 2016! Although itâs already my third of the year, itâs the first one I get to post up here! And Iâll have another wedding up shortly, as I had two this weekend!
Mary & Shane had a drizzly engagement shoot around 4 weeks ago, but their wedding day more than made up for it as the sun never stopped shining all day! At this time of year Iâm usually trying to stay warm during a wedding day, but with the sun beating down non-stop, it felt almost like summer!
Friday started really relaxed in Ballymote with Mary & the girls getting ready just up the road from the church, and thatâs the way the rest of the day continuedâŚrelaxed & easy going right through the ceremony and onto Enniscrone! Following the ceremony, we got all the family pictures done outside the church, and we continued with the bridal party & couples pictures there also. Not having to drive anywhere for this part really keeps things moving along. And even though the sun was shining all day, I had to find a nice back-lit spot for the portraits, because light trumps everything when it comes to pictures.
On arrival at Enniscrone we grabbed a few quick friends shots and the last of the aunts & uncles before I continued to document the rest of the evening. I wasnât the only one documenting either as there was plenty of Polaroids being taken for posterity sake! I always love seeing the instant cameras there as in this digital age, people still loving seeing the pictures develop almost instantaneously.
Congrats again Mary & Shane! Enjoy your honeymoon!
