Danielle & Martin, Wedding, Lough Rynn Castle, Mohill Co.Leitrim
I’ve shot a couple of first looks before, where the bride & groom see each other before the ceremony, but the last time was 2010! But I’ve never shot a first touch before, until now! Danielle & Martin were super relaxed on Thursday for their wedding in Lough Rynn Castle, that they decided to do a first touch…hold hands, say a few words, but not see each other until the ceremony. And with the whole wedding day taking place in the same venue, everybody had a great time, plenty of laughs, plenty of tears, and plenty of time to enjoy themselves with the friends & family.
Of course we managed to get some awesome portraits & capture some real moments too! The grounds in Lough Rynn are amazing, and the weather was almost as good as it gets…although I did think it would rain just as we started the portraits…but thankfully it didn’t…which was very much the same as their engagement shoot which I only shot four days before the wedding!
Congratulations again Danielle & Martin…enjoy your stay back at home, and as soon as I have the panoramic film back from the developers, I’ll share one here – Yes, for the first time at a wedding I pulled out the big panoramic film camera for a few portraits in the gardens…will there be a few awesome shots…fingers crossed!!
