Trisha & Brady, Wedding, Drumshanbo Co.Leitrim  to Kilronan Castle

And the award for the liveliest bridal party goes to…definitely Trisha & Brady’s bridesmaids & groomsmen, all 10 of them! From the minute I arrived at the guys house in the morning through ’til the evening at Kilronan Castle, these guys just kept getting livelier & livelier, enjoying every moment of the day!

I only start my wedding days at the grooms place a handful of times a year, but it’s really great when I do! The guys were super relaxed and already starting to enjoy the day, especially when some beer from their home in New Zealand arrived at the door courtesy of Trisha! When I arrived at Trisha’s home nearby, the champagne started flowing there too! That’s always great for helping everybody relax & start to get into the mood!

I’m a wedding photographer, it’s what I do most weekends of the year, and I see a lot in the mornings at a wedding…almost every situation! Missing shoes, missing rings, make-up getting re-done, hair getting re-done, issues with dresses & zips…nothing like that will stress me out and for the most part I’m just documenting everything happening, but rest assured everything always works out, guests & everybody else step up to help out, and the ceremony can never start without the bride! So while Trisha, her sister & mum took a little longer than expected to get her fabulous dress on (a dress which traveled in first class from Australia!), everything was still pretty timely & we still got all the bridal portraits done before the ceremony…and to be honest, the short delay meant the rain that started passed & we could go out, so it worked out better for us all!!

Once the ceremony started it was beautiful, with some emotional moments, and all against the background of the Drumshanbo choir doing a wonderful job on the music.

As we made the short journey to Kilronan Castle, we stopped at a couple of spots en-route…namely Lough Meelagh and the woods around Kilronan itself. As per their engagement shoot that I shot last week, Trisha & Brady were great in front of the camera…naturals really and the whole bridal party was great to work with! And as you can see from the preview, I shot a lot at this wedding!

Congratulations again Trisha & Brady, and thanks for having me shoot & document your Irish/Kiwi wedding!
