Here’s a preview of Aine & Martin’s wedding from almost two months ago at this stage…how time flies! I’m well into wedding season now, but Aine & Martin’s was the first of the season! And what a start too…beginning of March you never know what kind of weather might greet you when you wake up, but look at the above shot! Stunning weather, sunshine most of the day, and how blue is Lough Talt!!
With both bride & groom getting ready next door to each other, I was able to capture both bride & groom preparations in the morning before getting some relaxed portraits at both their homes. And following the beautiful ceremony we made the journey to Belleek Castle, stopping enroute for a few minutes at Lough Talt for a few portraits before arriving at the ancient castle for the reception. And as the grounds are pretty fab, we grabbed a few other quick shots before getting the family & friends pictures done!
I always love going into the dungeon dining room in Belleek as it’s one of the few places that actually looks like a ancient castle dining room! But it still has that intimate feel with the long banqueting tables! Oh, and a pig on a spit, nice touch (even though I don’t eat red meat!!).
Congrats again Aine & Martin…thanks for allowing me to share your wedding!
