Linda & Eoin, Wedding, St.Muredach’s College, Ballina to Knockranny House Hotel, Westport, Co.Mayo
You know I love a good Ballina wedding…so it was a pleasure to photograph Linda & Eoin’s recent wedding in the town, and in a new church for me, the secondary school chapel!
You know you’re in for an on-time wedding when you arrive to the brides home in the morning, and pretty much everybody is ready to go! And that’s great, as it means everyone can get ready in good time, on their time, I can get whatever quick portraits I need, then I can leave for the church & the bride, bridemaids & her parents get some time on their own with no cameras around.
Somehow, despite the weather forecast, the day stayed dry…it was windy, really windy, but everyone embraced the wind, and with the college grounds looking fab, we got all the pictures done right on site, speeding up things so we could get to Westport for the reception.
This was my second of three weddings in a row ending up in Knockranny House for the reception, and it’s a rare occasion, you get all three days where you can clearly see Croagh Patrick mountain looming in the background! And thankfully Linda & Eoin took a few minutes to get a few more shots with the ‘Reek’ in the background & a very ominous & awesome sky above it!
Congratulations again Linda & Eoin!
