Aishling & Alan, Wedding, Enniscrone, Co.Sligo
So it’s this time of year that I start to get wedding enquiries for the year after next. But to be honest I do not take on the year after next (2019) bookings until September of the current year. I don’t like to take on weddings until the following year (2018) is almost booked out. Aishling & Alan knew this so booked me way back in September of 2015 for their wedding which was last weekend! It seems so far ahead at the time of booking, but boy has time really flown by! It was two years ago today that I swam across the San Francisco bay from Alcatraz, crawled onto the beach, ran to get my bike, cycled the streets of the city, then ran 8 miles across dirt trails, beaches, sand ladders into the finish line of the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon!!
So after photographing Aishling & Alan’s engagement shoot on the banks of Glencar lake and in amongst the bluebells of Hazelwood, I knew this would be a nice, relaxed wedding…and that’s exactly what we had last Saturday! The sun shone, it rained occasionally, it was very windy, but everyone got on with enjoying the day, we somehow got all the pictures done outside, and of course Aishling & Alan got married in front of a few hundred of their family & friends!
Congratulations again Aishling & Alan, and thanks again for being one of my first 2017 bookings!
