Caroline & Padraig, Wedding, Sooey, Co.Sligo to Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone
I shot Caroline & Padraig’s engagement shoot back in April, and with their GAA inspired shoot, I knew they’d be easy to work with on their wedding. And last Friday I found out for sure…and just as I expected, they were easy to photograph & work with during the day…everybody was in fact!
With both bride & groom getting ready quite close to each other, I was able to get a few relaxed shots of the guys before spending the rest of the morning with the girls in Caroline’s home. And the ceremony wasn’t far away either, in nearby Sooey church, which I always love working in both because the parish priest is extremely nice & accommodating and the grounds are super to work with, which we thankfully were able to take advantage of to get the family portraits done & the bridal party shots done. It was a pretty blustery day outside, so I knew getting anything in Enniscrone would be a no-no.
And those of you who follow the blog (thanks!) might recognise the best-man from last weekends wedding with Fiona & Alan, as Adrian performed the best-man duties there also! It was great to work with Adrian again, as he is a former groom of mine from 2015!
And for the first time in well forever, I have an assistant for a few weeks! My cousin, Hayley, from New Jersey is helping me out, and you’ll notice quite a few of the images below are from her camera! I can only say I wish I was that good a photographer when I was a teenager…actually I never even touched a camera until I was 19 I think!! Stay tuned to see more of Hayley’s work throughout the next few weeks!
Congratulations again Caroline & Padraig…thanks for having myself & Hayley document your wedding!
