Áine & Enda, Wedding, Ballina Co.Mayo to Enniscrone, Co.Sligo
Before heading for Ballina where Áine was getting ready, I first made a stop at Enda’s home on the coast of Sligo near Easkey. I captured the guys’ last few moments getting ready, before getting some relaxed shots around the house & country roads nearby.
I’ve started quite a few weddings this year at the grooms house, and usually when I’m there it’s too early to be in a suit so I just get some relaxed shots, I’ll then get the groom & guys in the suits before the ceremony anyway. But this time it was late enough in the morning that everybody had their suits on.
Onward to Ballina, where as you know I love shooting weddings, but this time it was in St.Patrick’s church & not the cathedral! And following the ceremony and with the windy conditions, myself & the bridal party made the short trip to Belleek Woods where the shelter from the trees was perfect & the lighting pretty awesome! It’s really great in there when the sun pops out & lights up the trees & couple!
After about 15 minutes of capturing some relaxed portraits around the woods, we all headed to Enniscrone, where I left the bride & groom to enjoy the reception with their guests! I do love a wedding where the couple has almost an hour & half to spend with their guests! When the locations are close together, there is absolutely no reason you can’t have this!
Congratulations again Áine & Enda & of course Jack!
