Bronagh & Jim, Wedding, Carrick-on-Shannon to Lough Rynn Castle
My wedding season 2017 essentially finished last weekend with two gorgeous weddings, the first of which was Bronagh & Jim’s! When I say my wedding season, I mean the busy part with pretty much weddings nearly every weekend from March until October, bar a couple of weeks in Exuma in the middle!! I still have a few to shoot in 2017 but I have a break for a couple of weeks, and there’s two after Christmas which I’m not even thinking about right now…small matter of moving house this week to deal with!
Last Friday started with gorgeous stunning light, I mean look at how Carrick’s church was illuminated that morning! But with storm Brian bearing down on the country I kinda knew rain was headed our way & it was just a matter of when. But on starting in Albertine Lodge near Carrick, the girls got on with getting ready and we were able to get some relaxed portraits outside before the ceremony….bonus!
Following the beautiful ceremony in Carrick, the rain began to fall but as you can see, it didn’t dampen any spirits, and we made our way to Lough Rynn in the pouring rain…all 200 + guests, most of which had come across the Irish Sea from the UK…certainly the biggest destination wedding I’ve ever seen! Rain or shine, these guys were up for a proper Irish wedding!
Congratulations again Bronagh & Jim!
