Celestine & Cian, Wedding, Ransboro to Castle Dargan Co.Sligo
It’s usually the unassuming day that turns out to have some of the best light of the year! Starting off nice & dry but overcast, the day finished with the most amazing light so far this year! Add in some gorgeous autumnal red leafed trees in & around Castle Dargan to the mix & you have the perfect combo for relaxed portraits! And the best time of day to do these portraits is just after the hotel rings the bell, and you have some time with the bridal party & bride & groom, best time, best light & by doing it then, the couple doesn’t miss any time to spend with their guests!
Celestine & Cian’s wedding last weekend was so relaxed, start to finish! In two locations I know very well, having lived pretty near Ransboro for years, and now I’m just up the road from Castle Dargan, I won’t lie it’s nice to have some local weddings every now & then! But really, when the wedding is great, the light this good, I don’t mind where the wedding is! Can you tell that this kind of light is what gets a photographer really excited!! It’s pretty much why autumn is probably my favourite time of year to shoot weddings – more on that here!
Congratulations again Cel & Cian! Hope you have an amazing time in Japan…it’s probably the best country I ever visited when I was shooting Formula 1!
