Sinead & Cormac, Wedding, Curry Co.Sligo to Kilronan Castle, Co.Roscommon
October 2018 has been challenging for sure! But when it gives you some of the most amazing light ever, just go with it & take it for all it’s worth! That’s exactly what we did with Sinead & Cormac last weekend. Most of the day was blustery, drizzly, with heavy rain at times, but when it came time to get some relaxed portraits, I found a sheltered spot that’s normally nice, but about two minutes into the shoot, the clouds parted & the sun burst through just spoiling us & letting us get some gorgeous fiery autumnal portraits with the most perfect backdrop of yellow, greens & red trees!
It really is about knowing the weather and potential spots for pictures…have a plan beforehand (see My Approach), then just roll with what the day gives. Sure a few portraits around the outside of Kilronan Castle would have been nice, but it was so windy up there & with the light we had just scored, it’s hard to top that anyway…light is always the priority over background!!
Congrats again Sinead & Cormac…and thanks for trusting me with the locations for your pictures…everything else was you guys!
