Emma & Cathal, Wedding, Skreen to Castle Dargan, Sligo
This is it! My final wedding of 2018! What started way back on 3rd March with Fiona & Philip, finished last week in Skreen with Emma & Cathal tying the knot! Ask any wedding photographer, and they’ll tell you that weddings in March, April, May almost feel like they were years ago already…that’s how quickly the year goes by for us! And after 33222 delivered wedding images, it’s time for a short break from weddings, until March anyway, but I’ve already popped in an engagement shoot in 2019!
Back to Emma & Cathal’s day, and you would not believe it was the end of December, as it was 12 degrees most of the day, with some glorious sunshine & just perfect conditions for pictures! And after nearly 450 weddings covered, the reason I still love shooting & documenting weddings is for sequences such Emma making her big entrance & her dad getting all emotional…that is why I still shoot weddings!
Much like the majority of my wedding couples, Emma & Cathal were super relaxed all day, and trusted me when I chose a different location for pictures to try & beat the fast approaching evening! And as always, I love working with the same families as before, as I had previously photographed Emma’s sisters wedding, Michelle & Weeman 7 years ago – wow 7 years!
Congrats again Emma & Cathal! Best wishes for 2019 & thanks for having me photograph your fab wedding day!
