Josephine & Joe, Wedding, Rathlee to Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone via Kilglass House
A few months ago I went with Josephine & Joe to do their engagement shoot in Kilglass House. It was my first time there and it was pretty amazing. The plan then was do their wedding photographs there also. I reassured them at the time they’d look nothing like their engagement shoot, as the gardens would look totally different in the middle of summer. Check out their engagement shoot here, then scroll down here and see if it looks like the same venue!!
A couple of times a year you get a wedding that for whatever reason, seems to have endless amounts of time and no need to rush or get things done! This was one of those weddings! With everyone ready on time, and the sun & heat making an appearance during the ceremony, everybody came out of the church and had a blast with cocktails, coffee, tea, drinks, food from the guys at T2 Coffee Van! I think I had well over an hour outside the church in the sunshine capturing natural candid images of all the guests! And then after that myself and the bridal party went to Kilglass House to get their bridal images. After that there was an impromptu stop at Hopkins pub in Enniscrone, before getting to the Diamond Coast, where there was still time to chat, chill and even get a few dances in!
Congratulations Josephine & Joe…thanks again for having me at & trusting me to document your summer wedding!
