Karen & Pete, Wedding, Geevagh Co.Sligo to Kilronan Castle
Nearly all my August weddings so far have had long drives in them, so it was nice to be all in one area last Friday for Karen and Pete’s wedding! With all venues, including the brides home, within 10 minutes, it was nice not to have any time pressures! And for a change this August, the weather was pretty decent, although definitely not the forecast heatwave!
Again similar the the last few couples I’ve shot, Karen and Pete were super relaxed all day, with no gitters or nervousness before the ceremony! I always say you can never tell how you’ll be until the day, but when a couple are this relaxed, it’s great for pictures, especially during the ceremony!
Following the ceremony, we went to a location picked by Karen and Pete as it’s somewhere near the bride’s home. And its great going to a location that means something to the couple. And again, it was close by Kilronan Castle anyway, so we grabbed a few more pictures outside the castle before the bride and groom went down to their guests who were enjoying the trad music out the back of the castle!
Congrats again Karen and Pete! Thanks for having me document your fab wedding!
