Fiona & Enda, Wedding, Ballintrillick to Sligo Park Hotel Sligo

With the heatwave behind us, I was pretty much resigned to having a damp wedding last week in the shadow of Benwisken and the Gleniff Horseshoe in north Sligo. But alas, the Child of Prague did it’s job and as soon as hair & make-up were finished, we didn’t see anymore rain that day!

There’s stunning locations…and there’s stunning locations, and anyone who has been up around the Horseshoe knows it’s a world class location. So having part of that as the backdrop in the morning and the photographs after the ceremony was simply sublime! Add in a stunning bride & groom and fun bridal party and it was pretty much perfect all day long!

Anyone who knows me knows I love a good road photo, and a couple of weeks ago I was up around Benwisken for an engagement shoot, so had a trial run with some of these backgrounds. So when I arrived at Fiona’s home house in the morning, I knew exactly one location we had to try after the ceremony, and thankfully everybody was on board! It’s a superb contrast…the glamour of Fiona & Enda mixed in with the old school bridge & roads!
