Caitriona & Darragh, Wedding, Kiltyclogher to Donegal Town
After a crazy busy July and August, mid September was quiet, but that was the calm before the end of September into October super crazy busy time, probably my busiest period in 15 years shooting weddings…12 weddings in 7 weekends!
A rare wedding in 2021 is one that hasn’t moved dates at all! Caitriona & Darragh got lucky in that regards, compared to some of my other couples who’ve had to move sometimes up to four times!
This was one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve photographed! Caitriona didn’t stop smiling all day long. Not even a bit of drizzle throughout the day was enough to stop us getting outside, and again thanks to the couple for trusting me with a last minute change of photo location, somewhere I found that morning while wandering around Kiltyclogher village!
That change of location also meant there was plenty of time with guests after the church, and then in Donegal too and that included sitting earlier than usual because well weddings still have a curfew of 11:30pm in Ireland. I do like to work quick so whatever works for getting the couple back to their guests is what I’m about. I’m a wedding photographer not just a bride & groom photographer so I want you at your wedding!!
Congratulations Caitriona & Darragh…absolutely delighted I could document and capture your wedding day for you & thanks again for using the lovely little garden in your home village!
