Marcella & Kieran, Engagement Shoot, Strandhill, Co.Sligo

Answering my call out for a couple of couples to do a winter engagement shoot in Strandhill was somebody I know from wedding days, the lovely Marcella with her fiance Kieran! Like my family shoot with Charlene Flanaghan last year, it’s great to work with somebody I meet at lots of weddings and as I’m about to go straight into wedding season again, I’ll be seeing this lady plenty of mornings soon enough.

Like all winter engagement shoots, getting it done in February can be tricky or as in 2022 non existent because of the non stop rain and storms! Never fear, March 1st delivered for us beautifully, and we got this engagement shoot done in the dunes around the Shelly Valley in Strandhill just after sunrise! It’s probably one of my earliest morning shoots to do, and boy was the light pretty amazing!

Just when this sunny day couldn’t deliver anymore, I squeezed one more engagement shoot in, right at the last half hour of the day at sunset, one of those magical Strandhill sunsets! A sunrise and sunset engagement shoot day, a first for me!
