Aoibheann & John, Wedding, Calry to Ballygawley Co.Sligo
When I first started in wedding photography in 2007, there was one solid, always there videographer for my Sligo weddings, and I had known him from family weddings I would have attended too. John McMorrow, and he was always a gentleman to work with and a solid dependable guy. Fast forward to the end of April and I had known he was no longer doing wedding videos but when I was having a peek at the church in the morning, I seen him there and thought he was back in the game one more time. But low & behold, it was his daughter’s wedding and today he was the father of the bride (and a super proud one at that)! I was absolutely honoured that John recommended me to Aoibheann & John and that I was able to photograph their gorgeous albeit very wet wedding!
Again this was a gorgeous, family oriented wedding and you always know it’s a huge occasion when the brides house is full when you arrive, and it just keeps getting busier and busier as the morning goes on and more family keeps arriving!
Rain, heavier rain, torrential rain…it didn’t matter, and I don’t think Aoibheann stopped smiling all day long. Umbrellas at the ready, a chamois for my cameras (something I still use when it’s raining that I used to use when I shot Formula 1), and indoor pictures all day. We got it all done! Just have a peek below at their wedding and you’ll see the emotions and laughter and again, what a wedding day is about!
Congratulations Aoibheann & John…delighted I could document and capture your wedding day for you!
