Karen & Jason, Wedding, Ballymote to Castle Dargan, Co.Sligo
The last wedding I posted, I had all the time in the world which meant it was a relaxed wedding. With Karen & Jason’s wedding, I knew it would be relaxed…when couple’s don’t give me any list of images to get, I know it’s because they want to spend the most time with their guests…so that’s what we did!
It rained all morning so when the girls were ready, we got a few bridal portraits in the brightest part of Karen’s home, which worked out beautifully, including a black & white shot of Karen which I put up there with the nicest bridal shots I’ve taken in all my years shooting weddings – those top images that I personally love, I can’t really say why, there’s just something about them and I wouldn’t be able to recreate them if I tried as it’s the brides personality which pushes the image into the top level!
Onto the church and it finally stopped raining, so right after we just went straight to Castle Dargan, where it was still dry, so we got some real simple and quick relaxed portraits in viewing distance of the guests arriving. By the time they had all got to the reception, we were done! So it was time for Jason and the guys to spark up some cigars, and relax with guests until the dinner bell!
Congratulations again Karen & Jason! Thanks for trusting me with the location shoot and thanks for having a blast on the dancefloor!!
