Lisa & Paul, Engagement Shoot, Strandhill, Co.Sligo

And we’re off! 2023 wedding season kicked off proper on Saturday with two engagement shoots. Technically it kicked off a few weeks ago with another shoot, but they’re coming more regularly now spring is in the air!

February engagement shoots are tricky…mostly because they tend to be rescheduled because of weather, and sometimes rescheduled again! When they get rescheduled onto a day like last Saturday for Lisa & Paul, I have no complaints! The low golden light, sunshine, it could almost look like summer, in February!!

Relaxed portraits, it’s all I’m after with engagement shoots. Getting used to the camera is key and the point of the shoot, getting great images is a bonus from the session, and we usually get the best stuff towards the end when everyone is comfortable and that is exactly the point of the shoot!
