Congratulations Mary & Stephen!

The Sligo Park Hotel is an absolute Sligo institution! It’s always been there, and is going from strength to strength. Photographing weddings in the Sligo Park Hotel is a pleasure. And when the whole wedding is based in and around Sligo town, logistically it’s a great day with loads of time for the bride and groom to be with their friends and families!

I’ve photographed almost 600 weddings, but only twice have I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in St.Anne’s church in Sligo, and the second time was just recently for Mary & Stephen’s wedding! This was a fantasticly (is that a word? It is now!) relaxed wedding! Mary lived around the corner from the church…I walked from the church to her home for the preparations, then ran to the church after the bridal portraits which we did by the Garavogue River! We then went around the corner to Sligo Abbey for some pictures…I love shooting there! And finally we ended up at the Sligo Park Hotel! Can you say super local!
