Strandhill Surf Folk, a portrait exhibition featuring 80 people who surf and live in & around the Strandhill and Sligo community is coming in May to the National Surf Centre in Strandhill village.
On any given day with surf, the Atlantic here becomes full of different cultures, each with one aim, to simply catch the next good wave!
The people whose portraits you will see are doctors, yoga instructors, teachers, chefs, architects, musicians, photographers, entrepreneurs, students maybe even a pro surfer! How many will you know and how many will you know that you did not even know they surfed!
