Congratulations Ruth & Hugh – and Coolera/Strandhill also!!

Having worked with a number of Ruth & Hugh’s guests from back in 2016 right up to April this year, I knew this was going to be a fab wedding! And it was!

My 599th wedding and last in county Sligo! Weather was typical October, dark, moody, rainy, windy…but it didn’t stop us sneaking out for a few minutes even in a bit of drizzle! And it let us have a great excuse to nip into the Strand after the church in Strandhill!

And I think it was a first for me, where both bride & groom had two important football games the very next day! Both Ruth & Hugh playing for Coolera/Strandhill & it was double celebration as Ruth & the ladies secured victory, while Hugh & the men had to go to a replay but ended up champions the week after!
