POTY or Best of the Year is something I’ve done each year and for me is a nice way to actually sit back & look at some of the images I’ve shot, instead of just shoot, edit, move on, which is ultimately how a professional photographer has to work.

Thanks to all my amazing couples throughout 2024 who made it yet another year to remember, my 18th as a wedding photographer. And as much as Irish weddings follow a similar sequence throughout the day, every couple, every family is different which makes every wedding unique! I always say if I shot a wedding on the Friday, and shot the same wedding again on Saturday, I would have different images simply from seeing different moments – sometimes as a photographer you help make a moment, other times you have to anticipate a moment.

As is normal with any of my 18 wedding year seasons, the year flew by but yet Stephen & Johannes’ wedding back in March seems like a lifetime ago! Anyway less of the text and more images! Most of these are unseen so enjoy my selection of some of my favourite images of the year.
