How do I even begin to select some favourites from the last 10 years! 2016 was my tenth year as a wedding photographer and back then I did a quick recap of my first ten years as a wedding photographer, you can see that here. But I basically picked one image from each year that summed up my photography style and how it evolved.
So back to picking some favourites of the last decade, 2010-2019, and inevitably I’ve missed a few images here and there, after all there is probably around 350 odd weddings to look through…it’s kind of daunting seeing all the images and client names!
To get the selection below, I went through each wedding and looked for a mixture of relaxed portraits, moments, emotions, light, shadows, details. Some images are favourites because of the light, the scenery, the expressions which I clearly remember summing up the particular bride or groom in the image!
As I look back through these images, especially the ones with genuine emotions or laughter, I can, even after 469 weddings under my belt, go right back to the day I shot that wedding, whether it was in 2010 or 2019! And all I hope is the couples in all the images have the same feeling!
I do want to apologise if I left out your wedding, but picking through 350 odd weddings was a task, a very tough task! And as mentioned above, there are of course pictures I do love that I’ve either left out or just plain old missed!
So thank you all for reading through this, and of course all the other website posts, I do appreciate it! Thanks to all my couples who’ve had me photograph their wedding, from April 2007 right up to December 2019, and of course I’m already looking forward to working with everybody in 2020 from March on!
