Congratulations Gemma & Paddy!

Wedding photography on a boreen…I learned a long time ago, 2007 in fact, to embrace my surroundings in the countryside in Ireland when shooting weddings. That’s old walls, fences, long grass and boreens! As soon as I arrived at Paddy’s home in the morning & seen this lane way up to his house, boom, I was using that later for a few shots of the bride & groom!

What a beautiful wedding, perfect weather, lovely couple, families, suppliers! And really local to where I live in Strandhill, so it all helps.

And with my opening of the Strandhill Surf Folk exhibition just a few days after, it was pretty nice to have a few people during the day ask about it! As something that’s all on me to organise & push out as much as I can, it’s nice to hear it’s making it’s way around the village of Strandhill at least!
