Congratulations Karen & Mark!

One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer for the last 18 plus years, is seeing all the parts of Ireland that I would never have seen otherwise! Abbeylara in Co.Longford is one, and one where I was driving through saying to myself, I was here not too long ago…thinking for a few minutes until it came to me. I was here for the prep of Amy & Kieran’s wedding in 2022. I always remember weddings I have shot when I head off on holidays the following day & Amy & Kieran’s was one such wedding!

Karen & Mark had an amazing day, superb weather, beautiful venues which were all close together. And a bride who walked to the church keeping up a family tradition where four of her aunts did the exact same from the exact same house…I love these moments & keeping these traditions going! And to keep with a little historic tradition, I loved the fact Mark & Karen chose Crover House Hotel because Mark’s grandmother had her reception there back in the day, and she was in attendance on the day surrounded by her all her grandchildren!

And it must be a July 2024 thing but the dancing at this wedding was fantastic, only topped by the next wedding I shot!
