Mark works closely with all clients and their tailored briefs, from the initial meetings or emails through to delivery of the images to ensure his modern headshot photography surpasses all their expectations. Sometimes your business might not need a more formal type of business headshot, one in front of a plain background, and the headshot that suits your work more might be on location with an environmental background.
Blaithin Sweeney (above) is a yoga guide & healer in the Sligo area, and as part of my Strandhill local surfers portraits, I captured portraits & headshots of Blaithin in & around Strandhill and some of these have been used on her social media profiles and as part of the Sligo Chamber of Commerce Find Your Place campaign. A portrait of a yoga guide in front of a plain background just wouldn’t have had the same effect as the above portrait.
Further examples of businesses that Mark has worked with to capture more relaxed headshots on location are other photographers, outdoor retailers, outdoor travel guides, surf school operators, yoga studio owners, dental surgery staff, chefs, surfboard shapers, and of course Formula 1 drivers.
In today’s business , people come first and remember first impressions matter. With so many platforms to showcase on – LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram/Website – having a professionally photographed business headshot shows you have high standards and that you want to stand at from the crowd.
Headshots can be photographed against plain backgrounds or be more environmental or relaxed, taking in your area of work as the background.
